All of my experiences have shaped my awareness to form this present moment. I am eternally grateful to the hundreds of educators along the path that have led me to a fulfilling life as a yoga instructor, acupuncturist, and Ayurveda health practitioner. To help others understand my journey and qualifications I've included below a glimpse into significant accomplishments and formal educational experiences. My personal relationships with family, partner, friends, and patients continually contribute to challenging me on and off the mat in lessons of compassion, grace, love and light for them I am eternally grateful.

Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture

In the Five Branches University four year Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine program, we focus on non-invasive health care that allows the body in regaining optimum function and balance. Through the use of acupuncture, herbal supplements, Qi Gong, Tuina massage, and dietary therapy patients are both treated and educated on maintaining health.
As a senior intern, I treated patients under direct supervision of expert faculty at Five Branches. The comprehensive curriculum includes proficiency on integrating biomedicine diagnosis and terminology with effective holistic treatments.
During my studies I focused on pain management, sports injury relief, herbal treatment for digestive health, gynecology and fertility. In addition to acupuncture needles when indicated I prescribed (under guidance) Chinese Herbal Formulas and Patent/Pill Herbals.
In December 2013 I graduated from Five Branches. My private practice opens in May 2014 in Santa Cruz and San Jose.
